I'm Aaron Thompson, a former news photographer with a decade of experience in Joplin, Wichita, and Kansas City. Throughout my career, I meticulously documented every news story I encountered. This blog serves as a platform for me to revisit and retell those stories. I am married with 3 kids. We have 2 dogs and 2 cats. Presently, I'm a video creator at Pittsburg State University, and I'm on the verge of completing my master’s while working on a documentary project centered around Walter Johnson and George Sweatt.
