Solar Eclipse Magic: A Memorable Day in TV News

I've been falling behind on my blog posts lately, but I have a good excuse—two trips, one to California and another to Minnesota, plus the back-to-school hustle with my kids. Adjusting to their new schedules has been a challenge. August 21, 2017, was a memorable day in the news world, marked by the solar eclipse that captivated parts of the United States. Wichita was along the eclipse path but didn't experience full totality. I stayed in Wichita to cover the event at Exploration Place, and in my 13 years in TV news, it stands out as one of my favorite days. The atmosphere was electric, with everyone thrilled to witness the eclipse. It felt like time slowed down, and for a brief moment, the chaos of the world faded away.
