Reflections on a Chaotic Week: Trump's Arrival, Overtime Ironies, and Disney on Ice

March 5, 2016 marked an eventful week in Wichita as Republican presidential candidates made appearances in the city. I vividly recall assisting in the setup of cables and power at Century II. My specific task that Saturday was to provide live coverage at the airport for Donald Trump's arrival. However, to my dismay, I ended up broadcasting live for a stationary plane. The irony of paying overtime for such a task still boggles my mind. What added to my stress was the fear of missing out on attending Disney on Ice with Maria and Ellie. Fortunately, I managed to wrap up work early and join them. Attached below is the video footage of Trump's plane along with some other miscellaneous live shots.
